Summer intern will devote his/her time to the area designated for Compliance in Banco Santander International (BSI).

Specifically, the Intern will have exposure to some of the specialized areas that fall under the function, as follows:

-Regulation K – International Banking Operations,

-Privacy,

• Derivatives,

• Reputational Risk,

• M&A Advisory,

• Any other additional activity inherent to the function may be assigned by the Supervisor

Education:

-Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit in  (Req)

Skills and Abilities:

-Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously, if and when appropriate.

• Bilingual (i.e., Spanish/English). Portuguese is a plus.

-Willing to learn and get hands-on experience (i.e., denotes ‘out-of-the box’ mindset.

-Attention to detail and follow through.
