Maintenance Technician

Schedule: 7am – 5pm, Monday – Thursday
Pay rate: $24.61 - $30.00/hr.

Essential functions:

• Working with minimum supervision and following written and oral instructions.
• Working at the direction of the Maintenance Lead; night shifts subject to reassignment by on-duty Production Supervisor for repairs to equipment.
• Maintaining correct procedures and following specified guidelines.
• Generating necessary documentation.
• Repairs, modifies, retrofits, replaces plant equipment as well as other related duties.
• Ensuring quality and quantity of work performed.
• Maintaining work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Reporting all quality problems and all deficiencies in equipment to the Maintenance Lead, Production Supervisor, and/or Plant Manager.

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven knowledge and ability in mechanical and electrical repair, plus at least two of the following: basic electronic repair, basic welding, basic hydraulic repair, basic pneumatic repair. Commitment to continue training and education to improve maintenance skills. Contentious on-the-job training.
• Good mechanical and electrical ability, ability to make necessary repairs on plant equipment, lift up to 50lbs, and must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
