La Fayette, AL: Full Time School Psychologist Contract Job Available

We are looking to hire on an experienced & licensed School Psychologist to work fulltime onsite (30 to 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri) with K-12 students - located in La Fayette, AL for the remainder of the current school year.

The hired School Psychologisthas the potential to extend their contract into the following semesters & school year - pending performance review & school district need at that time.

Job Description:

• Conducting formal psychological assessments of students to determine eligibility for specific services & crafting the formal evaluation results
• Addressing any student achievement deficiencies
• Provide individual and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention
• Collaboration with staff/parents to develop IEPs (Individualized education plans) and behavior plans as needed
• Provide consultation and training to school staff on relevant topics
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and services provided
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoratedegree in School Psychology
• Proof of NASP national certification
• Active Alabama School Psychology state license
• At least 2+ years ofexperience in a school setting (PREFERRED)
