Job Description:
As a Full-Time School-Based SLP, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve their educational goals. You will work closely with a caseload of approximately 40-45 students in PreK through 8th grade. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of California.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children is desirable.
  • Knowledge of special education procedures, IEP development, and Medicaid billing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40-45 students.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and utilizing therapy techniques for various speech and language disorders.
  • Familiarity with technology and software used in speech-language pathology.
