Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year

A bit about us:



We are in search of a skilled Combustion Engineer to provide technical expertise for our various combustion systems at our facility. Your role will involve identifying and resolving issues, developing enhancement projects, and contributing to significant capital improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Expertise and Innovation:

Collaborate with vendors to stay up-to-date with cutting-edge combustion technology and controls.
Work with diverse technical teams, maintenance, and production to troubleshoot and resolve challenges. Take the lead in addressing recurring issues within your specialization and coordinating support as needed.
Analyze process concerns using data historians and provide effective solutions.
Introduce combustion control strategies to optimize processes and enhance equipment reliability.
Coach and train employees to enhance their understanding of combustion theory, safety, processes, and controls.
Establish and implement standard practices for designing, managing, and maintaining plant combustion systems.
2. Project Leadership and Support:

Contribute to and occasionally lead capital and improvement projects, providing engineering, start-up, and operational support within your expertise.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred OR equivalent experience of 10 years in industrial energy management with a proven track record.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective verbal and written communication and coaching.
Excellent time management skills.
Familiarity with PLC and HMI controls.
Proficient in troubleshooting various combustion control systems.
Solid understanding of NFPA and NEC codes.
Highly skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI and/or Visual Basic is advantageous.
