Accounting Specialist

Pay Rate: $23-$24 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

We're currently in search of a temp-to-hire Accounting Specialist with experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Reporting to the Full Charge Bookkeeper, you'll play a crucial role in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and possess exceptional organization, accuracy, and customer relations skills. As a skilled financial analyst and effective communicator, you'll work towards streamlining our budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations:

• Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Provide support to the general manager and full charge bookkeeper as needed
• Maintain an orderly filing system
• Ensure accurate reporting of payables, receivables, and analytics

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role preferred
• Experience in accounts payables and receivables
• QuickBooks Desktop Mandatory
• Atleast 3 years or more of Double Entry Accounting knowledge
• Experience with Financial reporting and the ability to use class codes as a second language
• Logistics and payroll knowledge would be a plus.
• Understanding of the General Ledger
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or supply-chain and distribution is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong work ethic, collaborative nature, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
