Building Facilities Maintenance - Full-time / Part-time

Our client, on Blount Island in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Facilities Maintenance worker to join their team. As a facilities worker, you will be part of the team supporting building and facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will have prior experience, light electrical and plumbing experience and strong attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Worker

Location: Blount Island, Jacksonville, FL

Pay Range: $22/hr

What’s the Job?

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains/plumbing, repairing leaks, building office furniture, install partitions/walls.
• Meet physical requirements (lift up to 50+ lbs, climb ladders, bend, crouch, walk, kneel)
• Ability to work independently without constant direct.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Perform minor landscaping tasks (mowing, weed eat, edge, trash removal, mulch, trim shrubs/trees)

What’s Needed?

• TWIC badge or ability to obtain one
• Your own vehicle to drive on to the port (drop offs not permitted)
• Meet physical requirements (lift up to 50+ lbs, climb ladders, bend, crouch, walk, kneel)
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains/plumbing, repairing leaks, building office furniture, install partitions/walls.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment needed for routine maintenance tasks.
