The Occupational Health Services LPN provides onsite promotion and restoration of health and the prevention/treatment of illness and injury.

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

\n
    \n
  • Interacts positively and professionally with applicants, employees and leaders pertaining to OHS services and functions.
  • \n
  • Promote safety and health to all associates with education, information, and example.
  • \n
  • Provide medical care and first aid in accordance with Protocols and Standing Orders within the scope of practice for licensure.
  • \n
  • Provide health appropriate evaluations and treatment for work and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • \n
  • Perform drug and alcohol testing per policy.
  • \n
  • Assist with case management strategies for work related injuries and illnesses.
  • \n
  • Participate in Incident investigations as necessary.
  • \n
  • Serves as liaison with medical claims adjusters, medical providers, and/or counsel for workers’ compensation.
  • \n
  • Maintains accurate documentation and assists in departmental medical records upkeep.
  • \n
  • Serve as part of the on-call weekend/holiday rotation for OHS.
  • \n
  • Participate in Safety, Health Services, and Human Resources projects within the facility.
  • \n

  • Ability to function in a fast paced/ changing environment with multiple demands at one time.

Education & Experience:

    \n
  • Current unrestricted RN or LPN license to practice professional nursing in hiring state (or compact licensure state) required.
  • \n
  • Current certification in First Aid, CPR and AED required.
  • \n
  • 1 years’ experience in health care preferred.
  • \n
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • \n
