Staff Pharmacist

0.7 FTE- Weekdays 7:30a-4p, every other weekend 8a-12p.

Responsible for all pharmaceutical services provided to Osceola Medical Center during scheduled shifts which includes processing medication orders, responding to information requests & emergent situations, supervision of pharmacy technicians, & completing special projects as assigned. The hospital pharmacist provides services to the inpatient unit, emergency department, surgery department, and outpatient oncology/infusion services.

Pharmacist will actively participate in the hospital care team with medication dosing and monitoring. They assist hospitalists and emergency department providers with medication questions and work with patients and the care team to collaboratively solve pharmacy related issues. The hospital pharmacist reviews and verifies medication orders for hospital and oncology/infusion center patients, oversees technician work and compounding/dispensing, assists with inventory management, supports EMR order set building and helps with various projects as needed.

Requirements:

• BS or PharmD from ACPE accredited school of pharmacy

• Pharmacy licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of WI

Preferred: 1-3 years CAH or hospital pharmacy experience
