Job Description
Position:
Finance & Accounting Associate
Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting in projects related to accounting, tax compliance, bookkeeping, corporate finance, and legal matters among others.
Position Reports to:
Finance & Accounting Manager
Department:
Administration/ Accounting
Status: Exempt
Essential Responsibilities:
Accounting skills:
- Assist in project Creation and maintenance.
- Assist in customer billing.
- Assist in financial statements and employee benefit audit.
- Prepare corporate reporting forms.
- Prepare monthly sales & use tax returns.
- Prepare account month-end account reconciliations.
- Perform fixed assets accounting(Additions, disposals, depreciation).
- Other duties and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Finance skills:
- Assist in preparation of monthly forecasts.
- Assist with data analytics
- Assist with data completeness and accuracy of ERP.
Core Competencies:
- Attention to details is a must.
- Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn multiple software
applications. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong work ethics, integrity, and reliability.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independent.
- Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software (i.e.QuickBooks, Sage Intacct or other).
Requirements:
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent preferred.
- 2-3 years or related accounting experience preferred.
- Spanish and English fluency, both written and oral.

- Availability to work at the customer site and/or Wovenware offices.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
Primarily sedentary with some walking, standing, and carrying of light objects. Adequately lighted and area where normal precautions for use of office equipment must be observed.
This is a standard 40-hour workweek job that may require additional and flexible hours as necessary to complete project deadlines on time.
Compensation:
Compensation is commensurate with experience level. The Finance & Accounting Associate position will be an integral part of our team and will have a competitive combination of base salary, Performance Bonus, 401K, Medical Insurance 85%-50% contribution, Sick Leave, and Personal Time Off.
