Ally Building Solutions provides flooring, cabinetry, countertop, appliances, door & trim, window treatment, wire shelving and glass enclosure products and expert installation services, as well as design studio solutions, to new home builders in greater Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, and Fort Myers.

We are looking for an experienced Job Cost Billing Specialist. The person in this position will be responsible for accurately calculating and invoicing clients for services or projects rendered by a company.

Job Cost Billing Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely invoices based on project or service completion milestones, ensuring adherence to client contracts and company policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of billing activities, including invoices, receipts, and client communications, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and internal controls.
  • Interact with vendors and builder partners regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, or contract terms, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with project managers, accountants, and other stakeholders to reconcile billing discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Utilize billing software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to input billing data, generate invoices, and produce financial reports.
  • Continuously evaluate and streamline billing processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction, proposing and implementing process improvements as needed.

Job Cost Billing Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in billing, accounting, or financial analysis roles preferred. Experience with job cost accounting or project accounting systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify patterns, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and billing calculations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with billing software or ERP systems. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
