Essential Function:
Hands-on instruction within our Apprenticeship Programs:
Facilitate programs as the lead instructor, in classrooms, labs and jobsites as directed
Manage tools and equipment assigned to and required, for all apprenticeship programs
Manage all materials assigned to and required, for all apprenticeship programs
Maintain safe and clean classrooms, labs and all storage areas of materials, tools, and equipment
Maintain records including attendance, tardiness, and performance profiles as needed
Promote, instruct, and supervise a “train the trainer” viewpoint so our apprentices’ help train incoming classes
Maintain NCCER instructor certification
Utilize resources from outside of JLG (vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, etc.)
Hands-on instruction, evaluation, and supervision of field-related Career Path Programs:
Work along-side field personnel as needed to ensure training plans are being met
Supervise apprentices and skilled personnel on assigned projects to ensure On-the-Job-Learning (OJL) hours are being met
Deliver instruction onsite or in the lab for specific projects, new materials, Strategic Accounts, or special assignments as needed
When directed, make jobsite visits to assess installation quality to establish training objectives
Conduct Strategic Recruiting through Outreach Programs:
Increase awareness and promote JLG career opportunities
Increase awareness and promote JLG apprenticeship programs
Maintain strategic key-partner relationships providing JLG with a talent pipeline
Participate in speaking engagements with key-partners
Participate in job fairs and trade shows

Experience teaching is a plus
Experience in commercial construction, specifically interiors contracting (floors, walls and ceilings)
