Collection Assistant

1st Liberty FCU is actively searching for a Part-time Collection Assistant for one of our branches in Montana. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service to our members and we know that all starts with our employee's. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: takes department phone calls and directs to appropriate collection staff, assists collection staff with delinquent or negative share accounts, monitors collection queues, contacts third party collection agencies, administers Collateral Protection Insurance program, processes debit card payments, member letters and assists the Supervisor with various collection and loan reporting. In addition, look for opportunities to match our members' needs with the appropriate credit union products/services. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Collection Supervisor.
