Sconza Candy Company in Oakdale, California, has been manufacturing premium chocolate and confectionery products since 1939. Our Company is one of the largest manufacturers of panned products in North America, producing primarily private label products for some of the world's largest retail and CPG Companies. Position Summary:

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze our existing systems and assets, provide recommendations for improvements, and implement the necessary upgrades. Additionally, you will be responsible for training the team to ensure they possess the required skills to execute their roles efficiently. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of IT processes, experience managing staff, and up-to-date industry knowledge. You will immediately impact the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide direction and leadership to the IT team, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Maintain and implement robust cybersecurity measures, staying abreast of industry trends to address risks proactively.
  • Oversee operating systems, SaaS applications, MDM solutions, email systems, and hardware, including laptops and desktops.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices for operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and execute IT projects, including system upgrades and technology integrations.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners for effective IT solution procurement and support.
  • Solicit and analyze customer feedback to drive IT service improvements.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment emphasizing teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software or systems engineering, business, or other technology-related field preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in IT management, preferred
  • Expertise in operating systems (macOS, Windows, Linux), SaaS productivity tools (GSuite, Slack, OKTA, Atlassian suite), and IT service management methodologies (ITIL, ITSM).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Strong capability in both creative and analytical problem-solving.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, with experience handling multiple projects.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication, able to clearly convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

The pay for this role in the state of CA ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 based on years of experience, position responsibilities and geographic location.
