Kable Staffing is hiring Cashier for a GREAT customer of ours in Georgetown, KY. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Efficiently process customer transactions at the checkout.
- Accurately scan and ring up items for purchase.
- Safely and neatly package customers' purchases.
- Provide assistance with bagging and loading items as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Keep track of cash, credit, and other forms of payments.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of product codes.
- Stay informed about the company's return policies
- Stay updated on current coupons and promotions.
- Apply discounts appropriately and ensure customers pay the correct amount.
- Provide assistance and answer customer inquiries during the checkout process.
- Offer information about products, prices, and ongoing promotions.
