Job Duties/Requirements:

Potomac Hospitality Group is looking to hire delivery drivers. Delivery drivers are to provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders. Delivery drivers will perform all job responsibilities in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. They are to report any serious incidents to upper management, such as missing products, machine failures, or broken items. They will also perform other duties as assigned/requested.


Please note: These positions are full-time and part-time. Some positions will require weekend and holiday shifts.

Essential Functions:

  • To pick up and deliver as needed.

  • To ensure that customer's orders are delivered in a timely manner.

  • To pick/pull products from purchase orders.

  • To receive/commit store purchase orders.

  • To load and unload as needed.

  • Organize packaging boxes, storage units, vehicles, etc.

  • Helps stock delivered food and non-food items.

  • To operate and maintain the necessary machines, equipment, and vehicles for deliveries and the restaurant.

  • To assist with tasks such as packing, moving, setting up, and breaking down.

  • Maintain a daily record of delivery times and locations.

  • Assist in inventory management. This includes replenishing and reorganizing.

  • Assist in maintaining the appearance of the restaurant as needed. This includes cleaning the storage units, facilities, and vehicles.

  • To empty and clear garbage bins and break down boxes when necessary.

  • Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.

  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all guests and coworkers.

  • Attends all training and in-service seminars.

  • Adheres to all policies and procedures of Ruby’s So. Co. Kitchen

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

  • Prior experience is preferred, but not required.

  • Must be able to pass a Level II background check

  • A valid driver's license
