JOB DESCRIPTION

An Online Spanish part-time instructor is responsible for virtual teaching in the subject area or areas that correspond to his or her area of specialty (DNP Nursing). As part of the job, it is expected that he or she can plan, organize, and teach in a manner that ensures the achievement of the institution’s learning objectives. An online part-time instructor contributes to the academic process of the institution through the participation in the development of curriculums, assessment, evaluation, research, peer mentoring and coaching, community service and advancement of the institution.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an accredited university or an internationally recognized institution of higher education
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience.
• Proven leadership skills from previous work experience.
• Hold a current license and certifications required by the profession.
• Experience as a successful virtual instructor in Nursing in higher education institutions.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish (oral and written, bilingual a plus).
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge and experience in LMS systems (Canvas preferred)
