Experienced HR Generalist

SmartTalent is currently recruiting for an experience HR Generalist with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in this role. This position is located in the Tacoma, WA area and our client is looking to hire ASAP!

PAY: $22-$27/Hourly DOE

TITLE: HR Generalist

SHIFT: 6am to 2:30pm

LOCATION: Tacoma, WA

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday

About The Job:

In this role you will be completing tasks such as; Manage benefits administration and reporting, Communicate benefits information to employees, Support the recruitment and talent acquisition,

Oversee new employee orientation and training including onboarding and sexual harassment prevention training, Guide career exploration with managers and employees, Address employee relations issues such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns. Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations, Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action

guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Requirements:

·A solid understanding of employee investigations processes to resolve issues.

·5 years of HR Generalist experience or 7 years of experience in the HR field or any similar combination of education and experience.

·Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

·System savvy – possess the ability to adapt and learn internal systems quickly.

·Even better if you have Experience with HRIS, iCIMS, and Payroll systems; Kronos is a PLUS!
