Tank Technician - Full-time

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking to hire Tank Mechanics in Midland, TX.

Requires Heavy Forklift and Yard Mule experience

The Tank Mechanic function is to ensure proper workmanship is maintained in all aspects of the job. This can only be accomplished by a thoughtful, organized process administered by a competent person suited to the task with technical skills. In addition to the above, the employee will assist the Large Format coworkers in any way possible as well as the shop supervisor.

General Duties

Candidate must  have the following experience (at least 1-2 years) and be willing to do the following   Equipment Operator  duties for the Tank Mechanic  position:

• Lift & Yard Mule Operation (Taylor Forklift 27,000lb capacity, Ottawa Yard mule)
• Perform all ISO Container movement
• Day-to-day operation of equipment
• Clean equipment as needed
• Report all equipment deficiencies
• Maintain equipment in a state of readiness
• Conduct all work activities in a professional manner
• Perform all duties in a safe, effective and efficient manner under company health, safety, & environmental policies

Specific Tank Technician duties (1-2 years experience) that are required:

• Prep parts according to the work orders
• Install parts onto ISO Tank according to drawings
• Repair tanks according to off-lease estimate
• Perform periodic testing of ISO tank
