Job Summary
Artisan Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Engineering Technician V to join our diverse, team-oriented company that is customer focused and employee driven. The selected candidates will join our team of exceptionally dedicated professionals in an exciting, fast-paced, highly successful company that provides engineering solutions for very complex DoD weapon systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical systems
- Diagnose and repair for test failures
- Repair and re-test of failures
- Data gathering for root cause analysis
- Research, compile, and analyze test data
- Help in providing technical reports and analyses, presentations, status reports, cost / performance tradeoff studies, and risk assessments
Qualifications and Skills
- Associates Degree in electronics or a related technical discipline, or HS Diploma or GED with 10+ years of electronics test and troubleshoot experience
- Knowledge of electrical codes and best practices
- Engineering Technician V's will be working with engineers and must have knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical measurement skills and must have experience with the quality process
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Automate Test Equipment experience
- Experience with diagnostic tools
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Ability to obtain Government Secret Security Clearance
