Description:

Under the direction of the Forging Supervisor and Production Manager, must be able to set up the Forge Presses, Reducer Roll and operate forklift to produce a variety of forgings to customer specifications and requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate the Forge Presses, reducer roll and forklift truck to produce a variety of forgings to customer specifications and requirements

· Loads billets into hopper for electric furnace

· Performs visual inspection on hot forgings to ensure compliance to customer specifications

· Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Prior experience in setting up machinery

· Able to use hand tools

· Able to operate forklift

· Able to lift heavy weights, bend, stoop and perform repetitive tasks.

· Able to work in various conditions such as extreme heat and noise level.
