Imagine Staffing is recruiting for a Quality Control Manager on behalf of our partner, a leading manufacturer located in the North Tonawanda, NY area. This is a Direct Hire position offering competitive pay ($60K-$75K Annually), great benefits and a dynamic work culture!
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
Tasks That Will Lead You to Success
  • Manage QC personnel which includes monitoring workload, assigning work, tracking/approving time off,
  • completing and communicating performance reviews, etc…
  • Provide input, guidance, and support to all departments relative to estimating, design, quality, manufacturing,
  • testing and inspection.
  • Educates and trains employees as to their impact in the quality management system.
  • Work with Manufacturing to administer new hire weld testing and training
  • Maintains and updates ISO/AIMS procedures
  • Manage current and future Code accreditation programs (ASME, PED, China, TSSA, CRN)
  • Maintain National Board registration Logs
  • Maintain China Code registration Logs
  • Release and Update of ASME Quality Manual and issue Log
  • Tracks and manages necessary registration/renewal processes
  • Manage welding programs(s) (ASME, PED, WPS’/PQR’s/WPQ’s)
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering or business
  • administration, or equivalent number of years of experience.
  • 10 years of experience in QA systems implementation and management, with 5years as a CQE/CQM in a medium-size
  • manufacturing environment
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Must be Detail Orientated
