6 State Short haul, Home Weekly

We are seeking experienced and reliable truck drivers to join our team. As a Class A CDL Driver, you will have the opportunity to drive the 6 State Short haul Route (Central VA, NC, SC, Eastern TN, GA and FL) averaging 1800 to 2400 miles and be home weekly. Responsibilities:

- Operate a commercial motor vehicle in a safe and efficient manner

- Transport dry van goods and materials to designated locations within the 6 state short haul route

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations- Inspect and maintain vehicle and equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning

- Communicate with dispatch and customers to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries

- Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately and in a timely manner- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Pre-Qualification:- Valid Class A CDL- At least 12 mos experience in the past 3 years of at 24 mos experience in the past 5 years.

- Clean driving record, without preventable DOT recordable accidents in the past 5 years.

  • MVR - Cannot have more than 2 moving violations and/or preventable accidents within the past 3 years (citations or convictions). Accidents/violations with the same date count as 1 event.
  • Non-MVR - Candidate with more than 2 preventable accidents/incidents within the previous 3 years need to be reviewed. No suspension, revocation, or cancellation as a result of a moving violation or accident in the past 5 years

- Ability to pass a URINE pre employment drug screening

- DUI/DWI All conviction must be at least 8 years old and never in a commercial vehicle.

Felony and Misdemeanor convictions are reviewed case by case
- NO RECENT TERMINATION, NO SAP, NO JOB HOPPERS
