Assembler

Our client, in the telecommunications industry is seeking a Assembler to join their team. As a Assembler, you will be part of the manufacturing team. 

Job Title: Assembler (5am-1:30pm)

Location: Chatsworth, CA

Pay Range: $18- $20/hr.

What’s the Job?

• Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Perform hand soldering operations.
• Read and understand basic electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions, part lists, routings, work instructions, EO, ECO, BOM.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications and industry standards.
• Use and operate standard hand and power tool such as screwdrivers, torque tools, wire strippers, crimping tools, and custom fixtures.
• Follow ESD and safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to use standard software.
• Two years experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components
• Able to identify and touch up solder defects that occur during the SMT operation.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time and lift 35 lbs.
