Aerospace Inspector

 Job Title: 1st Shift Inspector (6-10month Contract)

Location: Sun Valley 

Pay Range: $22-$24 P/H 

What’s the Job?

• Assist in establishing and documenting inspection criteria; prepare parts and documentation to meet external criteria. 
• Inspect pre-assembled and partially or fully assembled aircraft parts and structures. 
• Complete all required inspection documentation, including First Article inspections.
• Accurately interpret customer purchase orders, blueprints, mylars, engineering drawings and other documents related to job specifications as an aid in the inspection process. 
• Conduct internal audits of the quality management system. 
• Utilize appropriate tools such as gauges, scales, calipers, and other measuring equipment to check part integrity. 
• Read and Interpret SPC charts and other statistical information.  

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or equivalant will be required to take a pre-employment assesment. 
• 3 year of expeirence minimum with inspections. 
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools and read/interpret blueprints. 
• Ability to apply basic mathematical skills to the work environment. 
• Computer skills ( Excel, Outlook Word, PowerPoint)
• Understanding of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
