Our client, is seeking a Technical Store Operator to join their team. As a Technical Store Operator, you will be part of the department supporting team. 

Job Title: Technical Store Operator

Location: Marysville, OH

What’s the Job?

  • Generate and dispatch purchase orders to suppliers and resolve invoicing issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement efficient storekeeping methods and inventory procedures, establishing optimal inventory levels and reorder points.
  • Procure supplies, parts, and equipment as needed, including emergency items, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items, conducting quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform regular cycle counting of physical inventory and maintain accurate stock control records.
  • Identify and recommend disposition of excess stock while seeking operational savings opportunities.
  • Mark and identify tools, equipment, and safety-related items, repairing or replacing defective items as necessary.
  • Operate specialized material handling equipment and ensure its proper maintenance.
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders and provide timely support for emergency supply needs.
  • Adhere to Nestlé Integrated Management System, financial guidelines, and company policies.

What’s Needed?

  • High School diploma or GED certificate.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a storeroom environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management methods and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
