As the Astrolab Program Control Lead/Contracting officer you will serve a key role in the Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services (LTVS) effort ensuring that financial resources are properly allocated, tracked, expended and audited to ensure the successful completion of the program. You will be a key player in ensuring program management and reporting of financial resources within the Astrolab team and between the Astrolab team and the NASA customer. 

Note:  This role is expected to be filled in April 2024 and is dependent upon the awarding of NASA's LTVS program.

What you'll do
  • Execute program control functions and acting as Astrolab’s contracting officer on Lunar Terrain Vehicle System (LTVS) contract
  • Track and negotiate contract changes
  • Prepare financial budgets and track performance against those budgets
  • Validate all expenditure of resources for the LTVS program 
  • Project and audit resource requirements/availabilities and identify accurate projections of cash flow of the program
  • Validate expenditures submitted by subcontractor partners and ensure they remain within approved budget
  • Identify and implement unique cost reduction opportunities
  • Partner with supply chain management in procurement operations receiving and validating charges against allocated program resources
  • Collaborate with Astrolab’s business operations manager in facilities, common equipment, training, information technology and personnel acquisitions

What's Prepared You
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years’ experience supporting NASA projects or programs
  • 5+ years’ experience in procurement, business or contracting 
  • Preferred previous NASA program control experience
  • Preferred advanced degrees or PE license
