Financial Systems Analyst

Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is a minority-owned, women-owned small business. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, D2DInc provides services to public-sector organizations in the areas of acquisition and procurement support, contract administration and closeout, development and administration of small business outreach programs, training, administrative support, and marketing communications materials. Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is looking for a Financial Systems Analyst to support a government customer in Virginia Beach, VA. This person will provide program and project budget analysis support for a government customer. The qualified individual will be customer-focused and team-oriented with the ability to work independently.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties to be carried out include, but are not limited to:

• Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.
• Measure organizational performance, assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
• Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
• Employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
• Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending.
• Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
• Conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor’s degree in a business, finance, or accounting from an accredited university or college.
• Seven (7) years of experience supporting financial execution.
• Three (3) years of experience DoD and/or DoN agencies providing financial support.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to interact professionally and collaboratively with others exhibiting decorum and discretion at all times.
• Individual must be self-motivated, a fast learner and able to complete tasks with minimal direction and supervision
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have an active Secret clearance.
