Maintenance Department Certified Aviation Maintenance Technician - Airframe & Powerplant


Position Summary:

The Maintenance Department Certified A&P Tech is responsible for conducting maintenance and inspections on a multitude of general aviation aircraft. This role will consist of following company procedures as well as federal regulations for inspections and maintenance actions.

Work experience in general aviation fixed wing aircraft and A&P license are required. Inspection Authorization is preferable, however not required for this position. A successful candidate will need to be highly motivated with strong communication, relationship building skills, great organizational skills and attention to detail.


General Requirements:

  • Airframe and Powerplant License. Minimum 3 years experience preferred

  • General Aviation Fixed Wing aircraft experience. (Cessna, Beechcraft, see capabilities list)

  • Possess minimum tools and equipment

  • Integrity and professionalism

  • Solid verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Multitasking and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks

  • Teamwork and customer service mindset


Physical Requirements:

  • Move up to 10 pounds on a regular basis

  • Move up to 35 pounds on an infrequent basis

  • Work from ladders or work stands


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Routine and regular inspections of aircraft, powerplant and propellers,

50 hour, 100 hour, annual, phase inspections

  • Removal and replacements of components

  • Light Sheet metal / composite repairs

  • Oxygen system servicing

  • Utilize electronic programs and databases

  • Follow company procedures and policies
