Day Sanitation

The Day Sanitation position's main focus of responsibility is to keep the processing plant, offices and
front office in a clean and professional state. Must follow all policies and procedures under the
direction of the Plant Sanitarian. Help ensure compliance with all customer (internal and external)
and governmental requirements. Must have knowledge of a food production facility and experience
in the appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and chemical safety. Must be able to certify in the
required areas of responsibility.

Knowledge and Skills:
 Keeps accurate, complete, and legible records in English.
 Must be able to complete certification of training in appropriate areas.
 Use caution around moving parts & equipment.
 Notify Plant Sanitarian, Plant Manager, and/or Production Manager of any problems with
sanitation, health and/or safety.
