Summary

Instruct infants and preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed.
Required to hold or meet Texas certification and licensing requirements and pass background check.

Duties

  • 9:00 am- 5:30 pm work shift
  • Lift and carry up to 35 lbs
  • Be able to easily get up and down from the floor without assistance, and to walk, see, hear, speak with children to ensure children's safety
  • Assist with planning lessons and activities
  • Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Have a warm and supportive attitude in working with our students and their families


Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Good communication skills
  • Lift and carry up to 35 lbs
  • Be able to easily get up and down from the floor without assistance, and to walk, see, hear, speak with children to ensure children's safety
  • Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
  • Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Must be reliable
  • Be flexible in adapting to changes in assignments and schedules, and receiving direction and supervision


Nice To Haves

  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must clear full background check
  • Associate’s Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE.
