Description:
Coordinate support delivery that identifies student needs, establish appropriate research-based interventions and enables the efficient use of school resources.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate district efforts to provide high quality instruction and interventions for academic student needs
Monitors student’s progress frequently to make decisions about changes in instruction or goals and apply student response data to make appropriate decisions.
Prepares, compiles academic data and shares with appropriate personnel
Establish and maintain a system of communication between students, staff and families to share areas of success
Performs other related duties as assigned
Works with urgency and purpose to drive student outcomes
Thrives in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment; is comfortable with ambiguity and change
Seeks and responds well to feedback, which is shared often and freely across all levels of the organization
Qualifications:
Earned Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution required
Experience in a K-12 classroom setting strongly preferred
Certified Preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage student behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
Physical Requirements: Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move
