Fully Remote Position

As the Deltek System Administrator, you'll play a vital role in optimizing the Deltek Vantagepoint ERP cloud environment for efficient project planning & management, resource allocation, accounting, marketing, business development, and more. You'll ensure the smooth operation of the current environment while developing future workflows to adapt to software updates and database changes. This role entails comprehensive communication with all JCJ departments and providing essential training for staff.

Essential Functions

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Deltek Vantagepoint, overseeing user management, security configuration, system updates, and data integrity.
  • Continuously monitor system performance, develop/maintain system processes, and perform testing and QA duties for implementations and enhancements.
  • Lead end-user training through various resources and develop internal training materials.
  • Support additional application implementations, key processes, integrations, and change management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with multiple business units to understand ERP requirements, recommend system improvements, and implement changes to meet the firm's needs.
  • Act as a Functional Analyst and subject matter expert for Deltek, supporting various organizational departments.
  • Support end-users in system applications, troubleshoot problems, provision user accounts, and adjust application access.
  • Act as the firm's liaison with Deltek and related consultants.
  • Develop programmatic objects in the database to support reports or workflows.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assume special projects and duties as assigned or requested.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar Deltek ERP product
  • Knowledge of SQL preferred
  • Experience in architecture, engineering, or construction setting preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, VBA, and macros
