Residential Mentor

This Residential Mentor position earns a competitive starting wage of $16/hour. Full-time employees are eligible for dental, health, and vision insurance. As well as the opportunity to earn performance bonuses semi-annually, PTO, paid holidays, and 401k.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESIDENTIAL MENTOR

As a Residential Mentor, you are responsible for fostering relationships, guiding adventure outings, and upholding consistent program expectations with adolescents in a therapeutic residential setting. Our Mentors are with the students of Monuments Academy 24/7 and are a crucial aspect to the student's daily lives.. Mentors provide support to the students, maintain a safe atmosphere, acknowledge 'wins', and lead by example on setting appropriate boundaries.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RESIDENTIAL MENTOR

• 20+ years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to remain in control during stressful situations, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
• Understanding and practicing appropriate boundaries is essential.
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to pass driving tests and remain up to date on required driving courses.

This is an entry level position and no previous residential mentoring experience is required. We will give you all the training and knowledge you need to succeed! Monuments Academy has several Residential Mentor shifts available. We are currently hiring for part-time or full-time weekday, weekend, night, or on-call shifts.
