Job Summary

Responsible for directing activities over deposit and teller employees in the branch. Responsible for the branch's performance and conformance to bank and regulatory policies and procedures. Manage personnel, make sure that they are providing good customer service to customers, and coaching employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Manage day to day functions of a branch location
· Supervise daily financial activities to ensure compliance
· Network within community to drum up new business
· Assist customers to resolve account problems
· Assist over sales and business development
· Make the office a visible presence in community affairs and activities
· Ensure the branch’s goals and objectives are met in a timely fashion
· Provide leadership and motivation
· Ensure adequate staffing and timekeeping
· Perform teller and deposit services duties as needed
· Assist with the hiring, counseling, scheduling, and recommendation of termination of staff
· Assist with performance reviews for employees (90-day, annual, etc.)

Supervisory Requirements

Personnel Management: Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Process Management: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the bank’s policies and applicable laws.

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Education and Qualifications

Essential:
· High school education and diploma
· Attending all required meetings
· BSA and other Bank related training through BAI is required annually

Desirable:
· Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or college; or 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

Essential:
· At least two to three years of supervisor/management in the banking field, and expected to have a thorough knowledge of banking products and services, as well as bank/federal banking regulations and policies.
· Knowledge of customer service principles
· Relevant computer skills
