*$500 Sign-on Bonus. You will receive $250 upon a successful 90 day completion and $250 upon 180 day completion of employment.

POSITION PURPOSE:

To manually set up, break down, clean and service all meeting rooms in accordance with Trump National Doral - Miami ’s Service Standards.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

  • Move chairs stacked 10 high.
  • Roll tables that are 72” in diameter.
  • Push staging and place according to direction from supervisor.
  • Push dance floor carts and place according to direction from supervisor.
  • Vacuum floors.
  • General cleaning.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the work.
  • Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance-floors, etc., from storage area to meeting rooms.
  • Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
  • Break down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next function.
  • Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times.

Other:

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Trump National Doral - Miami from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort.

Due to the industry that we are in a need will occur for each associate to provide, “Excellent Service”.

Our goal is to ensure that we are maximizing customer satisfaction and as result there will be times when our associates in Operations will call upon us for support in order to ensure customer satisfaction occurs. When we are fortunate enough for this to occur, each associate will positively respond unless there is a chance that an opportunity resulting in dissatisfying a guest could occur. If this is the case the leader is to be notified and the level of support that is being requested will be obtained.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a Combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each Function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the Resort.

• Perform and general cleaning tasks using standard resort cleaning products as assigned by the

Supervisor to adhere to health standards.

• Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning up unexpected spills, or special guest

requests.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

• Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in the meeting rooms. For

example: different table types (round, schoolroom, etc.).

• Ability to lift and move multiple tables and chairs and podiums weighing up to 80 lbs.

through a crowded room. This position requires considerable physical activity on a continuous

basis throughout the shift for room set up and break down.

• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise move or push goods on a hand cart/truck

weighing a maximum of 500 Lbs and up.

OTHER DUTIES:

Assimilate into Trump National Doral - Miami Cultural Foundation through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of the Trump Cornerstones. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

OSHA laws require the use of the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health or safety:

Associates will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. The resort provides the required PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Leader.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education:

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to grade school or any other combination of education training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Experience:

No prior experience required. Prior hospitality experience preferred.

Licenses or certificates:

CPR Certification and/or First Aid training preferred.

Grooming:

All Associates must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance (specific standards available).
