NMC Health is an award-winning healthcare organization who is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician who is passionate about providing a safe, efficient and supportive environment for surgical patients and medical staff. In this role, you will serve as the liaison between Surgical Services and the Sterile Processing Department while supervising all activities related to decontamination, packaging, sterilization, quality assurance and quality improvement in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Your attention to detail and adherence to best practices for following all regulatory, federal, and state recommended processes and guidelines will be used on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Licensure, Registration and/or Experience

  • 2 or more years of Perioperative and/or Sterile processing experience preferred
  • RN or CST certifications preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Leadership
  • Sterile Processing experience
  • Communicate effectively both written and verbal
