Kingdom Telephone Company, a progressive Cooperative headquartered in Auxvasse, Missouri, is looking for a Chief Executive Officer to lead the Cooperative into the future.
Kingdom, which has been serving Central Missouri customers and members since 1955, provides state-of-the-art technology and service through its fiber-to-the-home network and a dedicated team of customer-focused employees.
With the Board of Directors general direction, this Executive will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing all business activities of the company and its subsidiaries.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a motivated, entrepreneurial leader capable of managing a growing and diverse organization in an ever-changing industry, with specific attributes including:
- 10+ years of management experience in the telecom industry, preferably with financial and business management responsibilities
- The ability to manage staff to effectuate change and growth while at the same time preserving Kingdom’s successful culture.
- Experience working with Cooperative Board members and other stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and other service providers.
- Understanding of and experience with Federal and State Universal Service programs, cost recovery, and requirements for future builds
- High level of integrity in all aspects of personal and professional life
- The candidate will have the knowledge and skills usually acquired through a bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree or professional certification would be desirable.
Requirements
The company is located in a beautiful rural location but with close proximity to major Universities and urban areas. The CEO is expected to relocate to the service area of Kingdom upon or closely following assuming the position.
Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
