POSITION SUMMARY

The essence of this role is to produce custom fabricated assembly and products by following blueprints, bill of materials, and following work instructions. The fabricator must have the ability to accurately set up and operate a wide variety of hand tools, fixtures, and fabrication equipment to complete work.

Creative ability to fabricate the beginnings of Aquatix splash pads and features!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Produces fabricated parts by following work instructions with the aid of drawings and fixtures.
• Fabricate components made of stainless steel, fiberglass and plastics.
• Perform PVC welding when needed.
• Create crates and shipping carriers for product to be safely transport to the customer site.
• Work effectively with team members to complete jobs in time.
• Ensure accurate labeling of parts
• Other duties as assigned

Attributes

• Read blue prints and follow work order and fabrication instructions.
• Understand fabrication sequencing and efficient means for production.
• Operating power tools as needed for fabrication and crating work.
• Full understanding of jigs and fixtures and their purpose
• Able to work independently and productively
• Able to work in a team environment

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Basic computer knowledge
• Must understand blue prints, read a tape measure, follow work instructions.
• Previous machine shop experience, carpentry, plastic welding, CNC experience, and/or schooling preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and job procedures- Training available!
