Material Handler

Now hiring a Material Handler for a manufacturing company in Akron for 1st shift, 7am – 3:30pm.

Monday – Friday

Weekly pay at $16 per hour.

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe transport of materials across the facility and will be cross trained in Assembly.

Material Handler Duties:

• Receive incoming materials and supplies.
• Verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders or bills of lading.
• Organize and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Any other task requested by a supervisor.

Assembly Duties:

• Utilize hand and power tools to assemble products to written specifications.
• Inspect assembled products for defects and report any findings to a supervisor.
• Package finished assemblies securely using proper shipping materials.
• Create and print shipping labels for packages and palletize.
• Any other task requested by a supervisor.

The ideal candidate has a great attention to detail and is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This position involves constant lifting, bending, walking, and standing for the duration of the shift.
