Janitorial / Cleaning Position

Industrial Factory – Gary, Indiana

• $16.50 per hour
• 40 hours per week
• Day time shifts – full time (7:00 am to 3:30 pm)

Our team cleans break rooms, lunch rooms, offices, lobby, rest rooms, locker rooms and corridors throughout the facility. Tasks include vacuuming or mopping floors, emptying trash containers, scrubbing and disinfecting restroom fixtures, disinfecting counter top and plumbing fixtures, dusting window sills, spot cleaning interior glass surfaces, spot cleaning highly touched surfaces, etc.

Jantech Building Services, Inc. is a janitorial service contractor completing day to day janitorial tasks at offices and factories. Generally, our employees work day time schedules, of 40 hours per week, Mondays through Fridays. Daily work takes place at the same facility each work day and in most cases multiple Jantech employees work together at each facility.

Each person who chooses to join our team is a direct employee of Jantech. Wages are paid on a bi-weekly basis, 26 pays per year, with Federal, State, and Local tax withholdings processed through payroll.

All applicants will be required to complete a basic criminal background screening and to provide documentation of employment eligibility in the United States. Applicants must be 18 years of age.

Jantech provides each new hire with initial job and safety training, including hands-on training for commercial cleaning methods and cleaning chemical usage. All basic cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning chemicals are provided by the company for use in completing day-to-day work. Necessary personal protective equipment is also provided by the company for employee use.
