POSITION: Database Analyst IV / Veeva Vault System Administrator

POSTING: 67490 (JNJNJP00067490)

LOCATION: Client Site, Jacksonville FL (On site preferred ; remote considered)

DURATION: Two Years

COMPENSATION: The hourly rate is a maximum range of $60.00 to $63.00. This will annualize to an estimated range of $120,000 to $126,000 based on 40 hour work weeks and 50 of 52 working weeks per year. OT is payable at 1.5X base rate and will add to the overall compensation based on actual hours worked.

JOB DESCRIPTION/EXPERIENCE:

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator who specializes in providing support for Veeva PromoMats and has a background in building and maintaining dashboards using Power BI. As a System Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to provide user maintenance and Tier 1 support for Veeva PromoMats, ensuring its smooth operation and optimal functionality for our organization. You will also be responsible for making system configuration and routine changes, documenting vendor releases, all while adhering to change management and SDLC governance. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing new and maintaining existing dashboards using Power BI, enabling data visualization and insights for decision-making purposes. The ideal candidate should have moderate experience with Veeva PromoMats administration, and be proficient in Power BI dashboard development. Good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years minimum Veeva Vault system administrator experience
  • Strong SDLC experience for GxP systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Certifications in system administration and data analytics is considered.
  • Veeva Vault Certification is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in system administration, preferably with cloud-based systems.
  • Proficiency in administering Veeva Vault systems is required.
  • Strong knowledge of system configuration, user management, and troubleshooting techniques is essential.
  • Strong experience in SDLC, including creating and updating documentation, is required.
  • Strong skills in data analysis and visualization are preferred.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, SQL, and data transformation techniques would be beneficial.
  • The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Meticulous in their work to identify and rectify any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills are necessary to troubleshoot system and data-related issues effectively.
  • The candidate should be resourceful in finding solutions and be able to adapt and think on their feet when faced with challenges.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills are important for working with cross-functional teams, as well as gathering requirements from business users.
  • The ability to present complex information in a clear and understandable manner is necessary when dealing with stakeholders at different levels of technical expertise.
  • A willingness to stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in system administration is key.
