Residential Coordinator

Ensures the overall care and well being of persons receiving services in assigned residences. Responsible for the overall management of the residences and direct supervision of Supervisors and Residence Counselors, Sets performance standards and provides the support and training necessary for staff to achieve standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor’s degree required in related Human Services field and a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years’ experience working with developmentally disabled individuals, or in-house incumbents, with ten (10) years’ experience in working with the developmentally disabled within the Agency.

2. QIDP, preferred.

3. Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience required.

4. Must have knowledge of HCBS Waiver, IRA and ICF regulations, Quality Management.

5. Must be able to be on call, provide weekend coverage as scheduled and work flexible hours as needed.

6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and data entry.

7. Upon completion of agency Van Certification course, transports individuals served to activities or events in the community.

8. Upon completion of agency Medication Administration course, administers medications and documents appropriately.

9. Performs all job responsibilities in full compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Adheres to the agency’s corporate compliance program, including the code of business conduct, the NYS and federal false claims acts, whistleblower protections and mandatory reporting. Completes corporate compliance training at least annually. Fully cooperates in all Corporate Compliance/Quality Management investigations and reviews.

Schedule: Varied weekly schedule to include one weekend day.
