Job Description:

As a mid to senior-level MEP CAD Drafter at American Incorporated, you will play a vital role in our success. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including but not limited to:

· Collaborating with Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers to gather design requirements, timeframes, applicable codes, and other essential information necessary for producing drawings.

· Creating detailed architectural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical floor plans and sections.

· Developing P&ID's (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).

· Generating piping spool drawings for fabrication.

· Designing equipment supplemental steel drawings and steel pipe supports.

· Draw AHU (Air Handling Unit) fabrication and platform drawings.

· Creating staircase fabrication drawings.

· Designing screw conveyor bridges for silos.

· Producing 3D BIM Models for coordination purposes.

Job Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

· Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP 2017 or higher, with extensive knowledge of Project Navigator and viewports.

· Proficiency in Revit, with the ability to create, organize, and develop BIM (Building Information Modeling).

· A strong understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and techniques.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

· Willingness to participate in field site visits.

· Availability for full-time employment with overtime as required.

· General computer software and hardware knowledge is a plus.

· Field or shop experience is also a valuable asset.

· 6+ years of Drafting commercial / Industrial drawings.

· This is an “In Office” position only.
