As the Sales & Events Manager, you will ensure events are not only a hit with our customers but also cost-effective with a strong return on investment. Responsibilities:
- Event Sales
- Plan and organize all elements of event logistics
- Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and interest
- Negotiate contracts
- Hire event staff
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations
- Evaluate the outcome of events and provide upper management with report and recommendations for improvement
- Manage (and fill) our events calendar
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Serve as our primary point of contact for large events and parties
- Maintain BEO (banquet event order) paperwork for each booking
- Collaborate with our chef on menu requests
- Fill additional staffing needs
- Negotiate contracts
- Work with the team to develop promotional materials
- Develop promotions or specialty packages to entice new customers
- Proven experience as a Sales & Events Manager
- Skilled in project management
- Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
- Excellent organizational skills
- A knack for problem-solving
- Customer-service orientation
- A team player with leadership skills
