Job Purpose:

HME is seeking Fabricators/Welders to use specialized equipment to assemble and weld new metal components.

SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS: (Doesn't include yearly performance bonuses)

2nd & 3rd Shifts

  • Day 1 of employment $2
  • 6 months of employment $2
  • 18 months of employment $2

Weekends:

  • Day 1 of employment 36/40 differential
  • Now Day 1 of employment $2

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate structural and miscellaneous steel assemblies
  • Lay-out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies before welding using straight edges, combination squares, tape measure and other tools
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
  • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
  • Maintains a clean and safe workstation
  • Maintains and wears all required personal protective safety equipment

​Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields preferred
  • Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
  • Must be legally authorized to work in United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer and pre-employment contingencies
