Description:

Rad Tech (Fluro) -- Multi Office Traveling


Arrowhead Orthopaedics is seeking a certified and experienced Full Rad Tech with specialized skills in Fluoroscopy to join our Radiology Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of radiographic procedures, including Fluoroscopy, with the utmost precision and patient care.


Key Responsibilities

· Perform radiographic and Fluoroscopy procedures in accordance with department protocols and the radiologist's instructions.

· Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures, including explaining the process and answering any questions.

· Operate and maintain radiology equipment, conducting regular checks to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.

· Prepare and position patients for imaging, adhering to guidelines to obtain high-quality images.

· Administer contrast media under the direction of a physician, following strict protocols to minimize risks.

· Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate images for diagnostic purposes.

· Maintain accurate patient records, documenting all procedures and outcomes.

· Comply with all regulatory and safety standards related to radiography and Fluoroscopy, including radiation safety measures to protect patients, staff, and self.

· Participate in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of advancements in radiographic technology and procedures.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

· Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.

· Valid and active certification in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

· State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, including a Fluoroscopy permit if required by the state.

· Experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with demonstrated proficiency in Fluoroscopy.

· Strong understanding of anatomy, radiology procedures, and patient care techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

· Additional certifications or specializations in radiologic procedures.

· Experience working in a hospital or large healthcare facility.

· BLS certification.



Compensation details: 38-42 Hourly Wage
