Summary of Accountant Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to:
- Responsible for managing 20-30 million dollars in annual receivables
- Create monthly AR reports summarizing billable projects and collection status
- Prepare monthly invoices with supporting documentation for each project
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of AR journal entries
- Assist with managing relations and expectations with the lending institutions of our clients
- Assist managers with billable hours of employees & equipment
- Assist project managers with reviewing and maintaining project budgets
- Ad-hoc projects & reports as requested by managers

Technical Requirements:
- Intermediate knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
- Working knowledge of various file types (.pdf, .doc, .csv) and their corresponding applications
- Basic skills in QuickBooks Desktop
- Basic accounting principles
- Document management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of AIA billing standards (not required, but definitely a plus)
- Knowledge of lien processes (not required, but definitely a plus)
- Knowledge of business insurance products (not required, but definitely a plus)
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance OR equivalent experience (+3 years)
License/Certification
- None Required

Compensation details: 19-26 Hourly Wage
