  • Collect, review and draft legal documents, correspondence and other materials of some intermediate complexity
  • Maintain and monitor various transactions’ schedules and deadlines
  • Maintain and update transaction files
  • Draft correspondence of some complexity which includes; consents, notices, disclosure schedules, closing documents, diligence requests and responses
  • Obtain, organize, and serve as point of contact for due diligence transaction statuses and organization or other projects
  • Review diligence for attorneys and prepare a summary, including recommended course of actionnput and update information into the legal databases
  • Input and update information into the legal databases
  • Perform other duties as requested

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Proficiency with Microsoft software, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Project Management experience required
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet preferred
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, transaction processes and other related matters
  • Legal research and investigative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
  •  Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to be nimble and pivot to prioritized tasks
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and, at times, stressful environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment

Required Education

Paralegal certification or American Bar Association Approved curriculum required or Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience

2+ years paralegal experience
