Investing Operator - Weekend Shift

CPP-Syracuse is a manufacturer of premium investment castings for the Air Craft and Industrial Gas Turbine industry. We have over 275 employees currently working in our Chittenango, NY facility.

We are currently looking for an experienced individual for our Investing department working the weekend shift.  Shift hours are Friday-Sunday 6a-6pm.   The Investing Operator role starts at $22.63 per hour.  On the weekend shift you work 36 hours but get paid for 40 hours, along with paid lunches too!! We are currently offering $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Investing Operator – This position the successful candidate to perform duties related to creating a ceramic shell including removing the wax in preparation for the casting process.  Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.  This position will also require the successful candidate to be responsible for building/mixing the ingredients of slurry, maintaining the proper viscosity of all slurries.  Also the successful candidate will be able to clean and prep wax molds prior the shelling process, be able to operate the robotic unit and be able to prepare and process shells for autoclave and burnout ovens..  The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and have the ability to maintain attention to detail and multitask.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Certifications/Licenses:  Forklift license may be required
• Experience: Entry Level Position – Prior manufacturing experience a plus
